Meet Maverick!  Maverick is part of a litter of ten puppies that were found and surrendered to our partner group in Kentucky.  Poor little Maverick had a small infection at the tip of his tail that caused some hair loss, but we put him on antibiotics and it seems to be recovering now. He loves playing with his siblings.   We obviously don't know what there parents were, but these puppies resemble a mix of Chihuahua and Boston Terrier, but we have no proof of either breed.  We just think that they will be small/medium size dogs at adulthood.    We have dewormed them every week since they arrived except the week of their shots.  They have received their first Distemper Combo shot, microchipped and treated with HW/flea tick control REVOLUTION.  Their fecal test was negative for parasites.  And they received a clean bill of health when they were examined by our veterinarian, Dr. Mummert of Timberview Vets.  If you are interested in meeting these puppies, you must have an approved adoption application on file at https://homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org.  Their foster home is located in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.
