Meet Bailey: After several litters of pups this sweet girl found her way to us and is ready to begin a new chapter of her life. Bailey is a very gentle soul with occasional bouts of lab energy. She loves hanging with her people therefore she would love to settle in a home where people are accessible a good amount of the day. She would also love a fenced-in yard (a visible fence). Bailey has been a wonderful house companion. She is crate-trained, house-broken, gentle with the preschooler in the home, good with the resident dog and ignores the cat (unless it runs or comes near the food bowl. However, Bailey will chase bunnies and guinea pigs. Bailey does require some work to walk nicely on a leash. Bailey did test positive for Heartworm and has begun treatment. Her final treatment is scheduled in the middle of August at our vet in Dillsburg, PA. The adopter would be required to take her to that appointment. Additionally, part of the heartworm protocol is restricted activity for the next 4 months. Bailey has been spayed, microchipped and is up-to-date on vaccines. Meet and greets for Bailey will take place in Gardners, PA. Please direct all questions to her foster at robinmurphy329@gmail.com. Prior to meeting Bailey, you will need an application on file with Homeward Bound Animal Rescue.
