Contact Tadd's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Suzanne (suehollenbach@comcast.net) Lab Shepherd mix puppy
We are happy to introduce you to the eight babies that Bree gave birth to on Christmas Eve. We are basing the puppies breed description on their mother who we believe to be a shepherd lab mix. Four of the pups look exactly like their mother with the black coloring with white markings. We have no idea what daddy may have been except for maybe another lab mix or collie mix. Bree’s babies have taken after their mother’s personality. They all seem to be a little bashful and trying to be the most submissive pack member. It’s so cute. You usually have a couple pups always trying to be the leader of the pack but not with these kids. When I go and sit down in their area, they love to just lie on my lap or will crawl in behind my back and snuggle up. I often find them curled up sleeping on or under a huge stuffed dog that I put in their crate with them. They will snuggle down under the flappy ears of the legs. It looks like the stuffed animal is hugging them. These pups are going to get along well with other dogs, cats, and gentle children. Kids that play really rough or are really loud may be too much for these puppies because of their gentle nature. The pups have been wormed every week since they were two weeks old and received their DAPP combo vaccine at six weeks of age. The puppies never mess in their sleeping area and have been trained to potty on paper. They are extremely neat and do not mess where they shouldn’t. They were vet checked on 2/11/12 and have been cleared for adoption by Farrell Veterinary Associates. If you wish to meet these puppies you must fill out our online adoption application found at www.homewardbound2u.rescuegroups.org. You can email their foster mom at suehollenbach@comcast.net regarding availability and setting up meetings. Tadd has been our little runt in this group. And he of course got his name when i kept describing him as a little tad. He is the most outgoing of all the pups. He would always be the first one to my lap or seeking out some little treat to eat.
