ADOPTED!!!!!  Darby is a pure bred female treeing walker coonhound. We love our hounds, and Darby is as sweet as they come. She is still a little shy when she first meets a stranger, but she is extremely affectionate and starving for love. Darby is still nursing her 8 babies, but she will be ready for her forever home in about a month. Darby was seized by animal control when her owners went to jail for drug issues. It is clear that she was not given proper attention, as she is strikingly underweight.

Darby is up to date on her shots and will be spayed before being placed in her forever home.  Darby is housetrained and working on her "inside" manners.

You will not even be considered to meet Darby unless you are a rock star dog owner and all of your friends call you a dog whisperer. Seriously - don't even apply unless you are amazing. If you think you are worthy of being Darby's companion, you must have an approved application with Homeward Bound Animal REscue in order to meet this goddess!

The minimum donation required to adopt Darby is $350.
