Meet: Sage. This little boy is pretty full of himself. Sage is the most confident puppy in the litter and always up for an adventure. Sage is an alpha and will need an owner with doggie experience.  Sage's mom appears to be a sheltie and we don't have a good guess on dad (maybe a Shiba Inu).  Sage and some of his siblings seem to have herding instincts, so if you like the herding breeds he is a puppy to consider.

Sage is up to date on shots and microchipped.  He is NOT altered, as the rescue does not believe in altering puppies this young in age.  Sage's adopter, per our contract, will be required to have him altered by nine months of age.

If you would like to meet Sage, you must have an approved application with  Homeward Bound Animal Rescue .  We receive a number of applications for our puppies, so we ask for your patience as we check your references and try to determine if this litter is a good fit for your family.  Sage's foster will be in contact to set up a meet/greet if your application is approved.
